Reference material and journals may not be borrowed.

Library membership is automatic to all registered students of SETU. Other types of membership are also available to interested members of the public. For more information please click here »

Library Zones
The LRC is a place for study and research. You can choose to work quietly on your own at a desk, individually at a PC or use the group work table for project or group work. To facilitate these different study needs, the Carlow Campus library is divided into different library zones.
The Quiet Room
Individual study only

Group tables may be used for project work.
Conversation and group study permitted at an appropriate noise level.

Opening Hours
Term Time
Monday to Friday - 08.45am to 10.00pm
Saturday - 09.00am to 5.00pm
Out of Term
Monday to Friday – 09.00am to 5.00pm
Please note that the library desk service ceases 15 minutes before the library closing time. All library users must have left the LRC by closing time.
Please note the opening hours of the Institute’s buildings are different to the library's.
Toilets
Male, Female and wheelchair accessible toilets are available on each floor of the LRC.
